Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn

The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn!
Here is the entrance. See the beautiful oak?
Here is a marsh view behind the museum. You can see highway 278 from here as well.

Another shot of the marsh

This one is OK, did not come out quite as nice as the red Camilla, but it'll do.
This is my first favorite, maybe because one of my favorite colors is pink! Have this as my screen saver.

Look closely and you can see the backside of a bee pollinating this Camilla.

Can you see it (the bee)?
A definite screen saver.
Cool, isn't it?

Really neat!

One of my favorite.
A very large yuckka filmatosa

Yesterday, I went to the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn for a science (Project Wild) workshop. A very pretty museum with nice views and pretty fauna. I promise I DID go to the workshop and participate in the activities. At various times of the day we were allowed some break time; that's how I took as many pictures as I did. I stayed awhile afterwards to explore and took some more pictures. Because I live down the road from this place, I will be coming back often.
